What TrustLocker guarantees about timed release — and where the limits are. Read this before relying on it for time-critical delivery.
Last updated: 6 April 2026
1. Release timing
TrustLocker is designed to make files available based on configured release times. Actual availability can still be affected by outages, account access issues, browser behaviour, third-party infrastructure interruptions, or configuration errors.
2. No legal escrow guarantee
Unless separately agreed in writing, TrustLocker is a software platform and not a regulated legal escrow agent, law firm, fiduciary, or certification authority.
3. User responsibility
Users are responsible for verifying recipient details, release timing, content accuracy, and whether the planned transfer is lawful and appropriate for their use case.
4. Backup recommendation
You should retain independent copies of all important files. TrustLocker should not be your sole archival copy of critical information.
